WXN Launches WXN Media, Marking the Most Significant Evolution in Its History
New media company includes original storytelling, digital and print publishing, filmed and live experiences and recognition under a subscription media model.
TORONTO, ONTARIO, CANADA, September 10, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- After more than two decades of building one of the most recognized platforms for women in business and leadership, Women’s Executive Network (WXN) today announced the launch of WXN Media, marking the most significant evolution in the organization’s history.
The launch marks WXN’s transformation from an organization built around membership, events, awards, training and mentoring programs into a media company spanning original storytelling, digital and print publishing, filmed conversations, live experiences and recognition, significantly expanding how, where and whose stories WXN can tell.
As part of that transformation, WXN Media is introducing a subscription model, giving readers access to its growing portfolio of original editorial content and storytelling.
The ambition behind WXN Media is clear: to widen the spotlight.
“For years, we’ve had the privilege of putting remarkable women on our stages,” said Sherri Stevens, Founder, CEO and Editor-in-Chief of WXN Media. “WXN Media allows us to extend that visibility far beyond a single stage or moment in time. There are extraordinary women building companies, leading organizations and shaping industries whose stories are not yet widely known. We now have the ability to discover those women, tell their stories with depth and introduce them to a much broader audience.”
WXN Media will tell those stories across a growing portfolio of editorial, publishing, recognition and live experiences. Be Bold Magazine will serve as its flagship publication, complemented by The Bold Edit, WXN Media’s ongoing digital editorial platform; Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100, its longstanding recognition and celebration program; and WXN Media Signature Experiences, bringing WXN Media’s storytelling and conversations to life through intimate, editorially driven live experiences.
WXN Media is also expanding into original video and audio programming. The One Bold Truth, an original filmed podcast featuring in-depth conversations with women in business and leadership, will launch in January 2027, creating another platform for the candid, substantive stories and conversations that define WXN Media.
The editorial approach will go beyond titles and traditional executive profiles to explore the women behind the accomplishments, who they are, what they’ve lived, what they’ve learned along the way and the truths they carry with them.
“I want to know the woman behind the title,” Stevens said. “The messy stories. The complicated stories. The risks she took, the things that didn’t work and the things that did. Those are often the stories we learn the most from and they are the stories I want WXN Media to tell.”
WXN Media is being built with a global vision, creating a platform to discover and share the stories of women in business and leadership across industries, cultures and geographies.
“Visibility has the power to change the course of a woman’s career,” Stevens said. “It can introduce her to people she may never have reached, make her expertise more widely known and take her story far beyond the rooms she is already in. WXN Media gives us the platform to create that visibility at scale and bring the stories of remarkable women to audiences around the world.”
